That's it from us today. Hope you all enjoyed our coverage. This is Srinidhi Ramanujam signing off on behalf of Shashank Kishore and our scorer K Vairavan. Take care and good night.

Dunkley, the Player of the match: "It was a bit touch and go at one point. Really proud of the girls out there for the win. I tried to hit the ball hard and hoped for the best. [On not playing the first game], didn't really mind. I'd love to play whenever given the chance. We thought 200 might just be enough on that wicket. A really close finish and happy with the win."

Rana, the Giants captain: "Feeling amazing. Great effort by girls feels proud, It will be fine. Defending here in CCI is never easy, I know it was a tough game, a high scoring game. We lived up to the game. [On giving Sutherland the death overs] We thought of giving her a few overs because she bowls good wide yorkers. I think we are a balanced team, we have good batters and we have a good combination of players. It's something we were looking for from the first win and now we have got it [the win]."

Deol: "Feels good to win. Wicket was good, batting was planned according to that. Backed my strengths and played. She [Rana] is a fighter, and will manage to get back on the field somehow. There was some bleeding in her fingers but she will be fine."

Mandhana, the RCB captain: "I think I'd say even in our bowling, we gave away 10-15 runs more than what we expected to. There were two three overs where we conceded a lot, and not 6-7 runs. We would have gotten better [with the target] otherwise. It's a good outfield, one end is really short, that did play with few of our bowlers' in mind, we are trying to work on it.

"A few positives. Shreyanka, the way she bowled and batted, she is a tough girl. And also Kanika's performance, they both have been good from the domestic circuit. "

11pm Relief for Giants. More misery for RCB. Where do they go from here? The bowling hasn't come to the party. There has been immense pressure on the batting unit as a result. Tonight, they made a good fist of it courtesy Sophie Devine and Heather Knight, but left themselves a little too much towards the back end. Having posted their first win, the Giants will hope Sneh Rana is fit and fine. She hurt her already bruised finger while bowling and can ill-afford another injury.

Sutherland to Patil, no run

bowls it full and wide across the batter from around the stumps, Shreyanka has backed away too much to the leg side so can't reach this, through to the keeper. Gujarat Giants get off the mark, RCB firmly rooted to the bottom now with three losses.

down on one knee and wallops this short delivery to deep backward square leg. Massive six. Shreyanka in firm control as she walked across to get underneath the length. That confidence, just wow. Why didn't she come in a lot earlier, ahead of Kanika?

paddled to short fine where Rana takes an excellent catch back-pedalling. Khemnar was looking to walk across and ramp but decided to abort it a tad late. By then the ball had already lobbed off the face of the bat. Don't think she was giving herself the best option in the first place.

How costly would RCB's decision to take a single off the last ball of the 18th prove to be? RCB needed Knight on strike. This is where game awareness is key. Kanika needed to stay away from taking a single. She didn't.

perhaps the decision to take a single off that last ball was costly. Kanika had to chance her arm with every ball, steps out to slap that over cover but misses and sees Verma pull off a simple stumping.

full toss, swung away to deep square. How high was that? Not signalled a no-ball, so RCB are reviewing it for a waist-high no-ball. If it is a no-ball, RCB will have a free-hit. The side-on replays confirm this was well over the waist. The RCB chants in the crowd start seeing the replays, but the third umpire wants a look at ball tracking to reconfirm. Third umpire says it's a fair delivery as tracking said it was dipping. The third umpire also reasoned that if she was in her normal stance, it wouldn't have been over the waist.
