11.20pm And that is all from our live coverage tonight. See you on Thursday for New Zealand's last game of the summer.

Southee: Unusual game. We knew there was a bit of rain. I think the guys adapted really well. Very good summer to be part of, we're very privileged here to have teams come in here and make a good summer. It's always interesting, it's shorter the guys can come out and go harder. They did put us under pressure. Just got to go with gut feel [about bowling Phillips]. I do a lot of it on gut feel, what feels right at the time. I thought the slower ball was starting to hold. So pure gut feel, sometimes you get it right, sometimes you get it wrong.

Mahmudullah: I think there was a bit of confusion because we didn't know what the DLS score was, it kept changing on the scoreboard. It can happen in the game. First five overs we were on track but we didn't finish well enough. Naim and Soumya batted really well. We didn't capitalise on the balls we missed. There are some chances that we need to capitalise and we might get a win. Taskin took a brilliant catch that gave us the confidence. In T20 sometimes you get a good a start, sometimes you don't. But both batting and bowling, you must finish well. As a batting unit we can take some positives in this game and come back strong.

Glenn Phillips is the Player of the Match.

11.11pm A comfortable finish for New Zealand in the end, but Soumya Sarkar had them panicking. Plenty of drama around the target but one man seemed unfazed by it. That clarity from Sarkar translated to a 25-ball fifty, but New Zealand let no one else get away with the game. And they win this game and take the series as well. 2-0 now.

1
Bennett to Mahedi Hasan, 1 run

yorker length at leg stump, jammed down to long-on

Tasmeem: "The target should've been more than 170 anyway. That's referee's fault, but it all comes down to the performance in the field. Naim needs to address his deficiencies. He has been really slow apart from that one innings against India. 38 from 34 in a match chasing 10 an over simply can't cut itself."

Kamran: "@Daniel is right. This is a farce unlike any we have seen lately. And it's not just a matter of a run or 2, it's 23 runs. Will the match referee be entertaining complaints against himself ?"

15.5
2
Bennett to Mahedi Hasan, 2 runs

full slower ball at leg stump, pumped high into the leg. Drops into the turf and deep square leg comically overruns it. Allen the man. Phillips at deep midwicket is there to cover him

Rudra: "@Daniel: Kohli or Finch would have done the calculations themselves as well and taken it up before even a ball was bowled" ---- It shouldn't be their job though

15.5
1w
Bennett to Mahedi Hasan, 1 wide

full and down leg side, can't get bat on the attempted slog

15.5
1w
Bennett to Mahedi Hasan, 1 wide

yorker down leg side, left alone

15.4
W
Bennett to Saifuddin, OUT

length outside off, slower ball. Looks to slog and gets a top edge that Southee pouches that cleanly

dropped right between Southee and Guptill! Southee running back from extra cover, makes the ground and then leaves it. Presumably because Guptill, running in from long-off, called for it. This mistimed loft off a full ball lands right in between and they are both bemused. Guptill holds out a hand in apology

15.2
6
Bennett to Mahedi Hasan, SIX runs

short and into off stump, shuffles and pulls. Almost one-handed. The bottom hand comes off as he goes through with the swing. It was a slower ball

Daniel: "Bangladesh must surely complain about all this dithering with the target. If this had happened to India or Australia there would be an uproar. Kohli would be demanding - and probably receiving - a rematch."

14.6

Southee to Saifuddin, 1 run

dipping, slow yorker at off stump. Can only pat that pitch side on the off side

14.5
1lb
Southee to Mahedi Hasan, 1 leg bye

slower length ball at leg stump, shuffles and shovels. Catches it just above the knee. Massive lbw appeal is turned down. Southee reviews. Replays show that is missing leg

1
Southee to Saifuddin, 1 run

full slower ball wide outside off, toe-ended lofted drive out to long-off

14.3
Southee to Saifuddin, no run

slower ball, short of a length and rising across the corridor. Beaten on the cut

14.2
Southee to Saifuddin, no run

short and climbing over his attempted cut in the corridor

Southee to Mithun, OUT

nice diving catch to the left by Conway. A slower ball at length on middle stump, gets down for the ramp, gets something on it, but it loops nicely for the keeper

full and into off stump, hangs leg side and swishes at that. Thick outside edge to third man's right

13.5
W
Milne to Afif, OUT

knocks off stump out of the ground! It's a spectacle, alright, but on close viewing this is a length ball at off stump. Afif looks to swat it behind square on the leg side and is done by the pace and angle on that

1
Milne to Mithun, 1 run

slower short ball at middle stump, backs away and cuts to third man

13.3
W
Milne to Mahmudullah, OUT

knocks the top of leg stump. A legcutter, sliding on from length at middle stump. Mahmudullah had dropped his shoulder into the off side to try and ramp that. Well beaten on his attempt

Mahmudullah b Milne 21 (12b 4x4 0x6 16m) SR: 175

4
Milne to Mahmudullah, FOUR runs

full and following him down leg side. He whips at it and gets the inside edge between his legs, down to fine leg

Hayden: "What I absolutely love about NZ is that they have so many match winners in the team (even with KW/Boult/Santner/etc. on the bench). Wasn't too long ago when NZ relied on the same individuals for every game. What a time to be a Black Caps fan!"

13.1
1
Milne to Afif, 1 run

yorker just outside off, looks to chop through cover and gets it to square leg off the inside edge
