At Georgetown, Guyana, March 10, 11, 12, 14, 15. Abandoned. Torrential rain, falling nightly for five days, left the Bourda ground under water, and a contentiously early decision to abandon the match was taken on the evening of the rest day. It was the first time that a Test match in the West Indies had been abandoned, and the fifth time in Test cricket history. The two teams had announced their twelve players as follows:
