The second-highest scorer in the BBL last season with 576 runs in 17 games, Hales carried that form to this season too. He has looked in brilliant touch so far scoring 264 runs in eight games at a strike rate of 168.15, and 204 of those runs have come in boundaries, the most in the tournament.

Munro, who has been in fine form recently, is our vice-captain pick for this game. In both the matches he played at this stadium, he recorded 50-plus scores in quick time. He is the highest run scorer for Scorchers in BBL10 with 187 runs in seven games at a strike rate of 133.57.

Mitchell Marsh: One of the best all-rounders in the league, Mitchell Marsh has been a fantastic finisher for Scorchers scoring 172 runs and getting dismissed only thrice so far in seven innings. Against Thunder, his scores are 52*, 11, 2*, 31, 44*, 34* and 64*. He has been good with the ball too picking up three wickets in three innings at an incredible economy of 5.12 this season.

Usman Khawaja: After a poor start to the season according to his standards, Khawaja has found his mojo, scoring 168 runs in the last five games at a strike rate of 142.37. The Perth wicket is likely to suit his batting style in this game against Scorchers; he has scored 203 runs in six games against them.

Tanveer Sangha: The 19-year-old spin sensational from Thunder has been a revelation in BBL10 so far picking up the joint most number of wickets - 15 in eight games at an average of 13.73, that too in his debut season. He has been especially good against the right handers, picking up 12 wickets against them and with Scorchers having five right handers in their top six, he is expected to get wickets.

Andrew Tye: One of the most experienced pacers in the tournament, Tye has been a touch expensive in BBL10 but has picked up eight wickets in six innings. Nobody has got more wickets than Tye at the Perth Stadium in BBL, picking up 15 wickets in nine games at an average of 14.0.

Jason Roy: The English opener is due for a big knock after getting good starts in all the four games he batted in BBL10, recording 20-plus score every time. Against his former team Thunder, Roy is expected to score runs.
